Save a Life - Give Blood at Community Blood Drives The City of Troy is proud to support the American Red Cross and all they do for our community, our country and around the world. The Red Cross needs to collect more than 13,000 blood donations and more than 2,500 platelet donations each day. Each pint of blood collected can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. Donors of all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, B negative and A negative.
