The Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill is a 6,700-capacity outdoor amphitheatre in Sterling Heights, sitting on a hilltop in the 100-acre Freedom Hill County Park. Originally opened in the 1970s as Freedom Hill Park's main concert venue, the amphitheatre has cycled through corporate naming over the decades and currently bears the Michigan Lottery's name as title sponsor. The venue runs an active summer concert schedule from May through September with classic rock, country, comedy, and Latin music programming.

The configuration is split between covered pavilion (about 2,500 seats under the roof) and an open lawn section (4,200-capacity general admission). Lawn tickets are the cheap-seat experience — bring a blanket and watch from the grass. Pavilion seats are reserved and stay dry in light rain. The Freedom Hill setting is a converted hilltop park, so sight lines from the lawn are good even at distance.

Practical notes: parking is included with most ticket types in the surrounding park lots. The venue is accessible via M-59 (Hall Road) — the Hall Road exit off I-94 puts you about 5 minutes from the gates. There's no public transit. Concessions are typical outdoor-venue fare; pre-game tailgating happens in the parking lots before doors. The 9 PM-ish curfew is enforced for residential noise reasons — shows typically wrap by 10:30 PM.
